The spec-sheet read
Our analysis of the sourced spec sheet — positioning and trade-offs, not a hands-on review. We don't score mowers we haven't tested.
A newer i2-generation Navimow that adds solid-state LiDAR to Segway's RTK-plus-vision system, wire-free, for lawns up to 800 m².
The Navimow i208 LiDAR is the LiDAR-equipped step up from the i105E we also list. Both are wire-free, but where the i105E combines Network RTK with a VisionFence camera, the i2-generation i208 adds a solid-state LiDAR on top for obstacle avoidance and positioning, and lifts coverage from 500 to 800 m². It keeps the Navimow hallmarks — no boundary wire, no local antenna (Network RTK), app control and IP66 sealing — with a 20–70 mm cut height and a 45% (24°) slope rating. A roughly 5.1 Ah battery runs about 110 minutes with a matching recharge.
It sits a clear tier below the AWD flagships here: it is not all-wheel drive (a separate i2 AWD line covers that), and its 45% slope rating is for moderate rather than steep gardens. Against its own i105E sibling, the reasons to step up are the LiDAR-assisted obstacle handling and the larger 800 m² area, at €1,199 / £1,099 versus the i105E's £699. Segway's EU range extends to larger i215 (1,500 m²) and i220 (2,000 m²) units.
Verification note: Specs are from Segway's EU product page and an independent T3 review; the €1,199 / £1,099 figures are standard prices, with observed promotional discounts excluded. Segway does not publish a cutting width in centimetres for this model, so that field is left unspecified.
